A nail? A knob? Some kind of pin?

I found this I thought it was a big rust ball on the end but it’s solid. I’ve never found one is this a rose head nail?

Those are what I call a "rivet nail"...

The head looks like a rivet on a nail.

They are usually very old... definitely a keeper.

I've half way learned my lesson on throwing things away two items mainly. it took 2 for me to learn that so i'm trying not to make it 3.
