1818 Large Cent, "Gold", and other cool relics from old farmhouse

Got permission to hunt the old farmhouse across from my "field of dreams" that my son and i got our best finds since starting this hobby. The people living in the house are renters and got permission for me from their landlord, super nice people. I dug some neat targets, some unexpected targets, and some truely awesome targets. Spent 4 1/2 hours there and pounded it hard. LC.webpring in hole.webpring at site.webppull tab w root.webpthe pile.webpgoods.webpring on table.webpbull.webpsuspender buckles.webppulltabs.webpjunk.webpcars.webpTHe large cent is in the best condition of all the large cents weve dug, the ring was quite a surprise, it says 18k and it has what looks like tiny diamonds in it but i think its plated:BangHead: managed 4 wheats (1920,1929,1910, and 1940) but no silver??:icon_scratch:that pulltab with a root growing through it was pretty neat:tongue3: im not sure what the bull thing is but i thought it was pretty cool, and those suspender buckles were about a foot away from each other, found a neat variety of toy cars and the usual junk

=Michiganne;3325856]I couldn't get your attachments to open. :sad7: Not a problem, just wanted to see that early LC better....favorite coin of mine. :icon_thumleft:

ok one last shot lol i miss my good quality camera, these are from my wifes kindle, the pictures dont do it justice, this is by far the best detail of any of my 9 lcs dug recently, it hasnt been sitting in farm field fertilizer for the past 170+ years

Wow, your large cent is in amazing condition! That's a lot of finds- bet you are both tired and very happy!

Awesome finds and cool longhorn and cars. If the ring says 18K and nothing else, it should be the real deal (not plated). A field of dreams indeed! Congrats.

i see 18k and what looks like a makers mark, but i cant find my loop to confirm and my pics are lousy so u guys wont be able to tell and yeah this house was good but the field im referring to was even better (8 lcs including a draped bust, an 1864 2 center, cpl of fatty indians and 26 buttons) thanks for the comments!!

Good finds man

The amount of total finds indicates you were digging all targets, yes/no? The ring does not want to photograph well, I feel your loss of the "good camera". Seems like it needs to go to a jeweler for a full determination. Do you recall how far down it was? Is nepa north east PA? Thank you for sharing....................6bkpkr

yeah i was digging everything, the soil was kinda sandy and wet which made fixing the holes super easy. the ring was 4" down by a tree and yep NEPA is northeast pa:icon_thumleft:
