Did a few hunt at a local colonial farmhouse. My last copper was just a plain disk, so I was really happy to see this one was readable. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1572144264.817231.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1572144277.633576.webp

Congratulations on finding such a nice 1822 Large Cent with a readable date!

Thanks everyone!

Awesome! Have yet to find my first big American copper.

Love the old coppers! :occasion14:

Every identifiable copper is a gift!!! Congrats!!!!

Man that is cool. Incredible to think someone lost that coin nearly 200 years ago. Nicely done!

Hit that spot , again & again .
Missing from your picture , are all the buttons and buckets of good relics usually found at early homesteads .
Dig it , CMD

Wow, that a beaut!!!! I dug a 1828 in similar condition, great job

Thanks everyone! I definitely plan on going back to this spot. Washington's army camped there for a night and i know the house was standing at the time. Haven't found anything from the army yet, but it has to be there.
