Knocked one off the bucket list yesterday! I've been hunting in SC almost 4 years & have yet to find a SC button. I'm very happy with this pretty 1830s/40s silver gilt vest size button (larger than cuff, smaller than coat)! I found a lot of other goodies too! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Looks like you've been having a fine time detecting to me!!

Very nice SC button! Big congrats! Really like seeing that palmetto tree as you brush of the dirt! The pocket knife is a cool find also. Congrats again and nice post.

Nice hunt! That's a sweet button and a great presentation of your finds.

Love that one piece silvered SC. Now go find a one piece silvered VA to go with it

Sweet SC Button , & Other relics also.
I been hunting my 1st SC Button for 15+ years, + a GA , MS , VA, & Esp, TN & AL. Sooooo?

The knife has age , I do recall seeing similar ones in Relic Book's.

Awesome relic hunt! :occasion14:

Congrats Josh! That's a sweet SC button, and I know how you like buttons.

That is a really nice set of relics. I can not tell how big the round unidentified part is, but it might be an oil lamp part.

Good luck!

Nice story, great pics and congrats on finding a bucket item!!
