...The title should be "half dime" not dime

I got a gracious invite from HomeGuardDan to detect at an old and beautiful site here in Virginia yesterday along with Beau and Bill D.. One of my first targets of the day was a beautiful capped bust half dime which is the first one I've ever found. Aside from a few nicks this coin is in great condition. I was also able to pull out a few buttons and buckle pieces throughout as well. About half way through the hunt, Bill D. came up to me and asked me to play a trick on Dan by digging a planted Cromwell Commonwealth halfgroat. Even though I thought my acting debut was stellar, Dan wasn't buying any of it. I could see him out of the corner of my eye just staring at me with lie-detector stare....oh well
:tongue3: It was a beautiful day (besides the 400 mph winds) and I came away with a first-time coin for me. Thanks Dan!

Congrats on that good looking coin. Sounds like you all had a good day hunting. That's what it's all about.
