1834 Large Cent and some silver dimes

I left work early to get allergy meds one and rest my pounding head. I buy the meds and feel better on the way home...so whatta ya do?! That's right. Hunt.

I hit a house that I chose because it sits in the corner of an old estate that was pieced out. Got a nice hit at 12-47 at 3" and dug that sucker expecting a clad quarter and instead a starred beauty is staring at me. A very nice long shot and the 2nd LC I scored this season that way (different spots though). Just to round things off I found 3 silver dimes nearby in the same yard. A very satisfying day after not getting out this weekend...

Cheers, now where's them beers?

Hey Mr Boss didn't Scrappy go home sick? Well I just passed an old house and he must have gotten a side job landscaping because he was digging holes. It had to be for flowers.....Great Finds.
But I don't know why he was doing cartwheels..

thanks Tom. I pounded the area hoping for some 1800's silver but no dice. I think I'm going to try my 6" coil there and see what happens.

I just counted. 61 silvers for the year thus far. The condition of the LC had me excited. Most coronets I find just are not pretty
