another fun day out there,, got 2 buttons a old navy button another old key a windmill,part of a bucklea 1911 wheat a 52 rosie and a 1845 large cent,, hope it cleans up nice..

I agree with Midnightguy about the key: looks like a railroad key. Post the initials on it, and one of us should be able to come up with the name of the railroad and maybe a date range for the key, too.
Great day and some nice finds.....that early Navy button could be something special.....Looking at differnt types in the Alberts Historic button book. There are a couple of similar pieces but nothing that matches your piece with 16 stars and gilted...That could be a good thing! WTG
