My 6 year old son and I went walking in field with the at gold he was carrying the Garrett carrot and I had the 8x11 coil off the pro on since not many targets. I get a high pitch tone and a solid 87 VDI I knew it was going to be a coin so I dug a plug with relic shovel and let him find it with the pin pointer. Another large cent to the collection and his first one and oldest coin for him. He was so excited he wanted to carry it. I was worried he would lose it but he got it back to house so he could show mom. Rinsed it off enough to see 1848. Rain started or we would have went back out. Great fun with my hunting buddy now for an olive oil soak to see if we can get it looking good. Thanks for looking and good luck. Rick67 I wanted to give the 8x11 a workout because it hadn't been used in a while. I was going to put the NEL on and go back out but it started raining and hasn't stopped yet.

How can a man possibly go wrong with a hunting partner like that!?

You are correct I plan on a field hunt this afternoon with my hunting partner.

Another Large, keep digging!

Love the large and half cents when I check hole. Only thing better is big silver or gold.
