nice job on the first large cent ,,looks like it could clean up,,

That LC is in spectacular condition! I wouldn't be upset one bit about its state of preservation.

Great LC.....Congrats:icon_thumleft:

Way To Check A Great One Off The List! Very Nice job! :icon_thumleft:

Great find. I so want to find a LC.

Nice looking large cent. I agree with eboy1960, I believe that this coin should clean up very nicely. Glad that you satisfied an item on your wish list. May you continue to knock off the items and fill the list.

Nice score , hey if its readable its in good condition . Last one I found I had to soak in vinegar over night and put olive oil on it just to see the date 1810. Yours looks like it will clean up nice with the right method.

Congrats! She looks great to me.
Try not to 'overclean'. that dug patina with some dirt left in the details
is how I like them.
(after stripping a few dozen)
ya know about opinions and A-holes, we all got em :laughing9:

Thank for all the comments. I see LC posted on here and the date sticks right out, what is the best and safest way to clean them???
Thanks and HH!!!

Congrats on your first LC. :hello2: Always a favorite to find. You're lucky the date is readable. WTG
