Hi all, well went detecting after work Friday and found a site not hunted
before. Lucky for me that the farmer had just worked the field and was getting
ready to plant oats. I had a pretty good 2 1/2 hrs hunting.

The 3 cent piece is dated 1856, couldn't get a real good picture of the
date side. Of course the Indian head pennies come out looking green
in a worked field. On the large cent I couldn't read the date.
The token is a Walter A Wood Havesting Machine. I don't know what the
Warented Superior thing a ma jig is, kinda neat though. The arrow head is
always a good find. I know you can't detect arrowheads, but watch the ground,
you too may come up with one. I also found a clay marble. LOL, always looking at
the ground, you never know what you will see and pick up.

Exceptional finds! I haven't seen goodies like that (the coins I mean) in Michigan since the 60's. Good memories!

You fellows in the south and east have such excellent hunting potential. Today in Michigan we're jumping up and down over finding 1 Indian cent.

Good stuff and keep posting!

Yea, but no gold coins in the east. :(

Keep @ it and HH!!

on the superior whatzit, has it got on the back a thread,ed end? oh and nice coin finds :)

There is a stud on the back of the whatzit, it might have been theaded at one time. Maybe i'll look it
up on google and see what I come up with.

Thanks everyone for your comments. This is a great Web Page. I didn't get out today, sometimes
you just have to work around home. I did cut down two trees and rolled the yard, man am I sore.
Ha Ha, never get this sore detecting all day. :)

I have one of the Warranted Superior pieces also. Did a Google search and came up with this site. It is the last photo at the bottom of the page. HH.

Denny, you are doing well. :o That 3 cent looks like it is in great condition. Also a 1870 IH - worth some $. ;D
Nice assortment of finds. Ohio is a good place to metal detect. I was out in Houston TX all last week - not the best place for Metal Detecting.

Yes I found on Google an update about the Warranted Superior. It says it's off of
a 2 man saw, from the late 1800's and there are many different buttons or pins that were
placed on the saws. I too have another one of these what ja ma call its. HOpe this
help you guys, I never did get the web page that someone put on here.

Thanks again for all your comments. HH, Ringfinder
