I found this with my ACE 250 6 inches deep . The back has nothing recognizable. It was up by our barn . At least I think it's 1863 - could be 1883 ?
That peroxide works good ,romeo-1 , the back now looks better than the front . I left it in olive oil last nite - this morning I put it Peroxide for 4 hours , the crusty stuff over the eagle flaked off !.
