Just yesterday i was complaining to the guy who posted the thread about the edward 111 hoard that i wish i lived somewhere that could even produce a indian head or old silver. well here is what i found .....

well I sort of found that coin but it was in the shape of a ring ! ........

from what i can tell it is an 1868 Napoleon III french 5 frank coin. here are some other pictures of the inside that i used to find a similar coin on eBay. if i am wrong or you can give further details like where or how its made, please let me know !

Wow!!

That is an extraordinary find. Can you give us some details on finding it?

WTG!!!

actually i was so hyped about it i forgot that part in the description and so im glad you asked.

i has this spot that has been producing for a very a couple years. a church now that used to have a 1 room school on the property. i have have hit it hard and found lots of wheats, 1 indian head, a few silver, about 5 other rings, and lots of trash. i decided to crank up the sensitivity and hit an area i found and 5 wheat penny cashe at last thanksgiving. the ring is what i found. along with a few more wheats, 2 buffalo nickels, and more trash. i gioing back next chance i get and turn up the sensitivity to max and go realllllll slowwwwwwwwwww to see what i missed.

I just purchased 2 rings from that site. Custom made by hand...You just can't beat that. Plus it goes for his son's college tuition. Thanks for that site..Bob S...Nice finds on that Napoleon..
