Here is a pic of, what would have been, a nice 1872 Indian Head that I dug up in a house yard that used to be
a park back in the 1800's. It was in a site where the old pavillion use to sit. Notice the nicks on it that I made
while, CARELESSLY, probing in the ground. After all of these years of hunting, you would think that I would know better. It is still a nice 1872 for having been buried in the ground all of these years.

That's about a $200 ding. Still a nice coin though.
 

Besides the nicks...it's still a very nice IH..look at all the detail on it

Beautiful bronze coin. No less than $850.00 value according to 2006 red book. I'ts so beautiful that I pretend no to see the ding.
