Hello all. Received permission a few weeks ago to hunt a building that was built in 1875. It is now used as a furnishings boutique for high end trim work and wall coverings. The cool thing about it is it's just down the street from my house. Today they were having a open house, so I stopped to see if it was alright to hunt the back for awhile. The owner(Karen) a very nice lady talked about some of my finds, and invited me to stay and have a drink and some food. Being it was getting dark soon I begged off and thanked her for her kindness. Besides I wasn't dressed for a get together...LOL. Anyway I went detecting behind the building, on my 3rd solid signal I dug up a 1946 Wheatie. So I'm thinking at least there are some coins here. The next solid signal i got was a dime/zinc reading, so i dug it and pulled out a nice 1901 IH penny. All total I spent 4 hrs in the back yard using my 4" snipe coil. Also a neat Bentley lighter case from Austria, and a clasp that says Canada 1935. A neat black button. The 1955 nickel was from a hunt at a school on friday. Pictures are posted. Hope everyone had a great weekend. HH

Looks like the soil wasn't too hard on the 1901. There's got to be a silver coin or two there.
