1884 Seated dime found

Searched a 1k bag of dimes and 3 1k bags of quarters...... these are the highlites....... the lowlites are that I pulled $14 in Canadian Quarters and $2.40 in Canadian Dimes.......

i'd take a seated dime at face any day. looks like it may have been part of some kind of jewlery and was in some kind of holder at one time based on those smooth marks

Yes this is my first Seated. Most of you who have been here for a while know that I search quite a bit and have found my share of stuff... I added dimes to my search spectrum in the last year. I have yet to find a Barber dime. Here's to finding another..... Better condition next time hopefully.

It's hard to believe that these are still circulating - I mean 1884! Wow! I think it's a great find. I like the condition better than a really slick one. It's beat up but has some detail left.
