I was hoping for something better for my FIRST seated dime. :'(

That's still a keeper in my book! :icon_thumleft:

Congrats!

Nice find Mojo, especially on that seated one. Great photos as always

Did you say seated or Beated?

i'd take a seated dime at face any day. looks like it may have been part of some kind of jewlery and was in some kind of holder at one time based on those smooth marks :dontknow: :dontknow:

huge congrats mojo
i know the canadians sucked, but that seated had to make it all worth it.
hope i hit one, one of these days

A Seated at face. Sweet find. Congrats!

mojo - very few ever find a seated coin CRH, that is awesome.

Mojo that is a rare find no matter what the condition. Is that a first for you? Awesome.

CoinMojo,

Great Find on the Seated Dime. Very hard to come by.

I hope I can find one day a Seated Liberty Halve

Thanks for all the replies everyone.

Yes this is my first Seated. Most of you who have been here for a while know that I search quite a bit and have found my share of stuff... I added dimes to my search spectrum in the last year. I have yet to find a Barber dime. Here's to finding another..... Better condition next time hopefully.

Nice find, even if it is beat up. You will never forget your first time.

It's hard to believe that these are still circulating - I mean 1884! Wow! I think it's a great find. I like the condition better than a really slick one. It's beat up but has some detail left.

WTG on the seated. not so sure you took a beating on the Canadians. with the value of our dollar nowadays they should be close.

I spend all my canadian coins I find at walmart they accept anything
