Been awhile since I posted because my computer died but today turned out pretty good so I'm going to atempt to use my phone. I spent several hours in the water and came back with a nice 14k signet ring,a silver Rosie and a v nickle. I got home and looked at the date on the v and it's a key date. Poor shape but I'll take it. First good hunt I have had in a while.

Nice ring. I can tell you it's old. I have one that looks similar that was handed down to me.

Looks like that ring is heavy. Nice one. Congrats on your finds

Key date? It's THE key date. Second lowest mintage, but apparently the hardest to find. Anyway, great score!

Gold rings and key date coins, that's a great hunt!

Very nice gold signet ring and V-nickel, congratulations! :occasion14:

that ring is a beast!

If you are using a smartphone to take pics, tap your finger on the screen where you want it to focus and play around with that. Results will be amazing

The ring has nude females on each side, a very Victorian style signet. Probably one of the nicest rings I have dug. I'm going to find a coin shop this week and run the v nickle there just to see what they say about the grade. Not sure if it will grade as good . Over 300.00 is what a good grading fetches so I may have to send it off to be graded. I am scared to try to clean it.. Not going to sell it but it would be nice to know what it might be worth.

Nice Gold Ticket! :occasion14:

That ring is really sweet.
A dug coin, when graded and encapsulated, will usually get an environmental damage tag. That tag will bring the value of the coin down to about 10% of the Yeoman's Red Book.
Congrats on your finds.

"Sea" nymphs adorning a gold ring and the rare 1885 V...........? Yep, I'd say you had a really good day!!

That ring is Stunning!! Big Congrads..

Almost looks like one of yours from the CrackBadger days!
