Local park unexpectedly spit out this tiny 1889 Mexican 5 centavos! Other finds are from the past month of pounding the pounded parks. The Half Rupee is about the size of a quarter and 50% silver composition. It took me 4 years to find my first Buffalo nickel this past June. Past month I’ve dug 4 more, 3 of them within a week of each other. Hand made tag read “Dr Malkington C.3.”.

All nice finds, but that 19th century Mexican silver is especially cool. Congrats!

Very cool foreign silver coins. They might be my favorite thing to find detecting. Do you think they were brought back from military excursions?

No idea but I also can't help wonder about how they ended up under my coil.

Nice finds Squirrel. Those Buffalo's are stampeding their way into your pouch ever since you got the first one out of the way. I like that Centavo.
