For anyone to offer $56 for an 1896 Morgan, it would have to be in AU-UNC condition. But without a photo of the obverse/reverse of the coin, that's just opinion. If you are serious about getting someone to send you an offer, you really need to prove condition of the coin by providing photos.

Even photos can be enhanced, so some coin buyers won't offer anything until a coin has been certified by an unbiased 3rd party. For a coin you've been offered $56 for, I wouldn't go to the expense of having the coin graded and certified. But if you hope to get top dollar, you've also got to prove your case.
