Keep up the great detecting.

WOW ~ that's GREAT!!!

Can you let us know what's engraved inside? I can't make it out in the picture.

IT SAYS I THINK... "H.K. to M.B. June 4th 1876" the writting is old fasion cursive fancy so its hard to tell...

These people were being married as Custer and the 7th Cavalry were marching towards Little Bighorn and their fateful encounter with the Plains Indians.

And probably reading about United States Centennial Celebrations to be held the following month on July 4th. :o

You know, this is really a great find--I'd take this one over any new ring anyday. It's great to have one that is not only personal, but also speaks across the ages.

Well done, and a Heartfelt Congratulations to you. I'm sure you'll enjoy and admire this find for years to come.

Regards,

Buckleboy

Outstanding find to say the least and I'm sure the owner won't mind you keeping it. WTG

A great find, and one you should keep! I found a similar one, with initials to and from, dated Feb 18, 1912. To this day, I'm sorry I sold it :-[.

Great find WTG  Cool being dated/ engraved too. 1876 wow golden oldie for sure.

Yes congrats on the nice ring you found there.

Very nice, what a sad thing for the person who had lost that

That band is awesome.

I love when that happens. Tab, tab ,tab then there it is a nice ring or relic left behind.

Very Very Sweet!
Just think of the story of losing that ring. Very cool to find it in a "hunted out" park.
Congrats.
