18thc Silver Clog Clasp, Silver Pendant, Nice Bullet & Relics

Had a great time at Hilton Head for vacation! The weather was beautiful, great company & great food! I didn't find too much on the beach but I did find a nice silver pendant & a silver earring. We went to Charleston Saturday & I found a silver colonial shoe clog clasp, a nice dropped Civil War 3 ringer bullet, a neat gold gilt flat button with scalloped edges & a few other relics. It was a fun time with some good friends. Thanks for looking & HH!

I haven't seen many posted in the US. There's a lot of info on the Colchester site, they find a lot of these in the UK.

Do you have an example of how this attached to a shoe? I've seen a lot of these but can't find a photo of how it was used on an actual shoe...

That shoe clasp is really cool Josh! At first glance I though it might have been part of a neck stock buckle, but I think you have the ID correct. Great find!

A neck stock clasp was what my buddy thought it was initially but it was too small. After a little searching I found some examples of the clog clasps which were a better match.
