Oldest coin yet found on my new permission. Think it was in old garden area, it was only about one inch deep. 20171020_202759.webp20171020_202857.webp

Cool Canadian eh. I've never seen one of those before.

Last year of Her Majesty's reign ! Excellent find .

Congratulations on an excellent find. Definitely a cool keeper.

Crisp looking LC, she should clean up nicely. Well done on getting yourself the oldest coin yet from the permission.

Love those old Canadian copper Large Cents. Great find.

That is a pretty coin! So there are Canadian large cents too? Love learning here on Tnet!

Awesome copper
Congrats

Love those Canadian largies, always come out way better than us. Those Canadians had a superior copper recipe.

I agree with TPMetal that Canada had a better blend of copper than the US when producing LC's. That deep green patina is gorgeous. Sure would be nice if US large cents came out looking so sweet. Congrats on your oldest and a real looker for sure.:headbang:
