Another good Saturday. The dime is in good condition and the ring is ok. There are no other markings or inscription on the class ring that I can see other than the school initials on the front "MHS". On one side is a very clear "19" and the other is a very worn "13"

Nice finds there ED, I especially like the class ring. I'd like to see closeup pics of the left and right side if you can.......Rich

I wonder what school it came from? Do you have any ideas?
 
That is an old ring.. You only can wonder when it was dropped. Too bad the owner has probably passed by now.. It's sad that every day people that have been alive for decades, die off closing a window of knowledge and history.
 
Awesome! I love the style of those old rings. They weren't that common during that time period. Let us know if you come up with the school or the individual. Great find. Thanks, for sharing.

If the school is outside the DFW area, no telling. When I got home I looked up McKinney, TX but they didn't have a high school in 1913. But Mesquite and Mansfield both had high schools before 1913. I haven't found anything else yet.
