1908 Louis Bennett (with no William Bryan) Campaign Pinback Button

Hi!
Can anyone please give me your opinion about what I think is a very rare Louis Bennett Campaign Button. I think he may have had this made shortly before his campaign then William Bryan wanted in on it and both combined to make their Campaign Buttons. Maybe this is the only known one? I surely can’t find one through countless hours of research! Made by Whitehead & Hoag. This button has the “B” design on it but has only “Louis Bennett For Governor Of W. VA. 1908 with only Bennett’s picture. Please let me know what you think. Rare I’m sure.

Maybe the Bennett button was made for the West Virginia Gubernatorial convention (before he got the nomination) then Bryan was added later to create the coattail pin. You can see the obvious similarity to the Bryan button from the same year.

BTW - I was a little shocked at the value of some of these old political pin-backs!
