Lincoln-- little dirty-- not bad-- wheat side looks great.. Date side I think says 190? -- wasn't the lincoln started in 1909? I assume it is the date

Either it's there or not, either way, doesn't make a difference....just fun to know with an 09.... An S would bey key, but too bad not this one.

Yes 1909 is the first year. So that is what it is. VBD should be between the ends of the wheat stalks on the bottom if there.

Mint mark would be under the date (under the dirt), and the VDB would look like this on the bottom of the reverse:
