Very unique find - that wast the first ever US coin to feature a once living person on it, also the first and last to contain the initials of the engraver that designed it - the mint was not happy about that and quickly had the initials removed that same year. It's worth "a pretty penny" as well. :treasurechest::thumbsup:

Actually many US coins still have the designer's initials. VDB was returned to the cent in 1918 but in a less obvious spot, below Lincoln's shoulder.
