Me and a buddy hit a SA thrift store and he spied this immediately. It has no movement and a replaced finial but is complete. The glass is hand painted. We looked up the comps on eBay and the prices realized in the hundreds. BTW...it was $9.99 but it was 50% off day. $4.50 cost. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1440299055.349341.webp
 

Nice find. Hopefully you can pick up a replacement movement fairly cheap as well. Is that a Waltham?

Yes it is a Waltham. It looks like it was converted to electric a long time ago. You can see where the cord was cut. Based on parts prices the movement wil be expensive.
 

Awesome find! The detail of the gold eagle and shields are amazing. Is that a War of 1812 scene? Maybe to commemorate the centennial. Very nice.
