We got this clock at a thrift store for 6.99. It is a New Haven shelf clock, and the porcelain dial with beveled glass matches others of the time frame, although an exact date would be cool to know. It is fully functional, and even has the wind up key! Some etchings on the back including 'Mellon', probably the owner's last name, as well as what may be some service markings and a possible model number? They seem to sell online for around 200 in this condition and fully working. Had a fun day.

I actually thought it was tarnished, but it may have been gold gilted/plated originally. I may replate it one day, but for now it looks cool- 'adds character' right? Lol.

Very unusual clock. It looks turn of the century to me
