1916 D or S?

I'm not sure if there is any way to tell or not for sure, but thought I would ask for opinions. I picked this up today at a local dealers for $1.25. it was in a bag of silver that he was charging 12.5 times face. I also pulled 2 nice walkers, a SLQ, and a barber dime that were pretty decent. any opinions on the mint mark on the merc would be appreciated, thanks, Griff UPDATE....sold for 26.00 on ebay
