1916-S Obverse Mint Mark Key Date Half Dollar

My wife found this rare half on a recent P.A.T.H. Club (Peoria Area Treasure Hunters Club) group hunt. A lot of silver was found over the 3 day hunt including 4 half dollars. My silver amounted to a sterling treble clef ring and a 1944 nickel. Now she keeps telling me how her Whites DFX ran circles around my E-Trac. I may never live this down.

Wow, congrats on that nice half! Glad to hear PATH had a great hunt at that site, I have heard many, many great stories of that event from a number of folks.
