Haven't posted in a while because of my work but I went hunting today for a couple of hours to an old favorite spot and besides the trash and clad I pulled these 2 buffalos out of the same hole maybe 7inches. Ones a no date the other is a 1920. A few minutes later I got a iffy dime signal at 9inches and pulled this slanted 1917 D out in excellent conditions (woo hoo key date!). Also found a couple of old buttons. Not a bad day at all.
Thanks for reading

Your Merc is in excellent shape, super find congrats.

NICE HUNT !!!!

The 17'D is the first silver I ever dug. Seeing that coin brings back some memories. Great shape too!

Very nice merc John!

Sweet merc - one year older and it would be worth mucho!

Very nice finds.....especially the merc. Do buffalos always look corroded like that or do they clean up good ?

I've never managed to clean one up very good. They all seem to come out of the ground that way and stay that way.
