not a md find. my grandmother gave this to me years ago and I have no idea who this guy was or what office he ran for. if anyone could shed some light on this and what value it may have it would be greatly apprecciated

I think it's Serbian or Serbian-American. Narodni Dan means "National Light." In 1918 the country was liberated by Serbian troops and the Kingdom of Serbia was restored. That same year, Serbia and several other nations united to form the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, which in 1929 became the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Thanks so much for the info. I guess that explains why I got no results when I googled Dan Narodni, I had it backwards.

Well said, history does it's best to repeat sometimes. Today the Kingdom of Yugoslavia is again Serbia, with Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia.
