Hello, I don't post often, but I am a watch collector. The watch you have is a high grade Railroad watch with the wind indicator under the 12. But it is in the wrong case. It is in a Hunter case and should be in a standard railroad open face case. A pocket watch in a hunter case has the 12 where the 9 is now, so when it is held in the right hand in your palm, opened by pressing the crown, the front lid flips open towards your fingers and the 12 is at the top. Someone, somewhere along the line has transposed it into a hunter case, which it doesn't belong in. To a collector it lowers the value greatly because it is not original, but it is still a beautiful watch. Enjoy the watch, it is a very good one. One of Walthams highest grades. ootpik
