1920 D Merc. with a circle in the center, why? MORE PICS!
I found this on monday and noticed that it had a circle in the center of it. Somebody posted that they had also found a few mercs with this same circle in the center of the head. What would cause that? There also seems to be some extra silver above the L in liberty that connects the top of the L to the rim, the same in the T in trust, a line of extra silver going from the bottom of the T down to the front of the bust then to the rim on the bottom. Could that be a die break?
