1920's House

Haven't been out for months but got permission to hunt a house a co-worker had put up for sale.
Had lots of help from the neighbor kids and ended up giving them several of the pennies and clad
coins we found. Kept the following:
Hot Wheels car (1964 Chevy Impala)
A dime store ring
Couple quarters (1965 and an Ohio State)
1919D Wheatie!
And, a cool token for Laundry Soap
Front says: "GOOD FOR TWO CAKES CRYSTAL WHITE LAUNDRY SOAP FREE WHEN YOU BUY THREE CAKES"
Back says: "14 DEALERS: THIS CHECK WILL BE REDEEMED AT YOUR RETAIL WHEN CONDITIONS ON THE OTHER SIDE
HAVE BEEN FULFILLED. THE PALMOLIVE-PEET CO. CHICAGO"
I was pleased with the finds on this 2 hour hunt.

Re: 1920's House

I found a Palmolive-Peet soap token not long ago too, same octagon shape but a tad different wording than yours. These tokens date to at least 1928 or before, as after 1928 the name of the company incoporated the Colgate name.

Great finds!

Re: 1920's House

Hot Wheels & tokens are always good signs. . . Kids. . . they'll loose
just about everything including their allowance (which can be silver )

Take care & HH!
