1921 Morgan dollar

I usually post in the Indian artifact forum but I wanted to show this coin my son found in some dirt turned up at a fair ground in Ohio it is a 1921 Morgan dollar it looks like it has gold on it I would like some opinions because I don't know much about coins!

Probably got plated at some time. They did that as a novelty item.

1921 is the most common date Morgan dollar.... cool find though...

$30 coin I'm guessing. Very cool, the gold plating is interesting, done as a novelty piece like the painted halves I find coin roll hunting.
