'Saw this beautiful painting just now and thought you might find it interesting. Frederick Judd Waugh, American painter from New Jersey. The painting was made in 1922, so it's interesting to see the range of ages in the bottles here. On the left there's a clear crown top sauce or something, even looks machine made - but then you've got much older sauces, figurals, a barrel, a gothic cathedral, and historical flasks. It makes you wonder how it easy it was for this guy to find some of these old beauties...

And the flowers are nice too.

PS: The Gothic bottle reminds me of similar pickle bottles we salvaged from an 1866 wreck in the Bahamas; some of the same were even two-three inches taller. Thanks for stirring up a good memory.
