1928 $100 bill. How much could it be worth?

Welcome to Treasure Net !
What is the issuing bank for each bill?
Do any of the serial numbers begin or end with a star instead of a letter?
What condition would be grade your bills?

1928 is california
1934 $100 new york
1934 $5 the seal doesnt have a state it just reads, AMER SEPTENT SIGIL THESAUR, what ever thats supposed to mean?

please let me know what you think

thanks

The 1928 "California" would be San Francisco. They issued both a 'plain' series and the Series of 1928A. The RETAIL value in VF-20 condition is about $175 for the 'plain' and $150 for the Series A.

The 1934 New York came in 'plain' and Series A, C. and D. VF-20 RETAIL values: Plain and A: $135, (none for 'B'), $150 for C and very rare (no value given) for 'D' (only 150 issued).

The Latin inscription THESAUR. AMER. SEPTENT. SIGIL. is an abbreviation for the phrase Thesauri Americae Septentrionalis Sigillum, which translates to "The Seal of the Treasury of North America"

The 1934 requires another question: Who are the two signatories? Julian/Morganthau, Julian/Vinson, Julian/Snyder or Clark/Snyder. I'll also assume the color of the seal is blue, not yellow.
