Looks like 1941 Plane (no mint mark) There were 887,039,100 minted. Today in "Good" condition, value would be listed at 0.10 cents, and the one you have looks pitted, so... no matter, buy a couple of penny books, and begin collecting the wheat penny's you find, starting with yours, when you find another 1941 in better condition, trade em' out. I think there are about 140 different "wheaties" out there, minted from 1909 to 1958. It's a goal, you gotta start somewhere, and you have.
