Have you ever wondered why so many merc dimes found on Tnet have WW2 dates, 1941-1945? The gov cranked up production for the war.
1943 Philly mint: 191,710,000
‘41-‘45 Philly mint: 962,750,000
Not to mention Denver and SF mint.😎
