- Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.

March was kind of slow for me on silver, quality over quantity with the nice looking seated half dime from 1857 last photo. Zoomed in to show details no it's not a seated quarter. I wish lol. I did better on bottles that month.
Beginning of this week was my first April hunt at an old spot with but with my original set up that produced the most. Tide was out fairly far. But you only get about 3 to 4 hours out there before your holes start filling up with water. The summer you can deal with getting wet but April in a river is a little cold. Ended up with a flat button and toasted copper in same hole, a few musket balls, a 1903 barber dime and a holed 1785 half real.
