Hello everyone!
Today I met up with Mike B., Richard, and Ron to do some detecting about 40 miles north of here in Corvallis Oregon, Home of Oregon State University. We had a great time ~ Richard really shined today ~ the student became the teacher! He's gonna post his finds tomorrow because we forgot that we locked his digital camera in the glove box in my car~ he'll pick it up tomorrow so he can take pic's of all his awesome treasures!
Here's what I dug today:
1943-P War nickel
14 wheats ~ 1917 to 1954
12 clad quarters
39 clad dimes
11 nickels
82 memorial cents
Pictured is 1917-S, 1918-S, and 1925-S wheat cents and the 1943-P War nickel.
Thanks for looking!
Neil

How do you find 72 silver coins, where are you hunting?
My ratio this year has been around 4-5 wheats per silver. Don't feel bad...I've had worse ratios than yours this year.
