1943-S

It seems that 75% of the war nickels that I find are 1943-S. Does it hold true for anyone else?

Out of 451 war nickels I've found, I've gotten 32 43S. The most common date for me is 43P with 152/451.

My most common is the 43P. Dont have stats but have a lot of them.

it seems to me if you are on the west coast the S's and D's are easier to find. on the east coast its the P's and D's.

I am finding more 1943-P.

But, what drives me crazy is seeing all those 1964 nickels--you can spot them a mile away.
