Howdy All, I picked up this Bulova watch yesterday at a local thrift shop for $1. The face reads Bulova 23 Jewel... Self Winding....Six Adjustments and on the back it has Bulova.... Stainless Steel Back... Shock Resistant...A938385 over L6......Anti-Magnetic....Self Winding...Waterproof and it works. I put it in the "What is It" forum and NH Benz helped me with a date of 1955. Crystal is scratched but rest of it looks good. Anybody have an idea on value?

I'd venture to say about $75-$100 if the crystal isn't toast. Is it marked gold anywhere? Some were gold though obviously not much due to the band.

He said the crystal was scratched and that it has a stainless steel back...

Bezel is plated. Crystal is scratched up but not bad enough that you can't read the watch.

OH WOW! I had no idea there were other sections here. Geez. When I landed here through a search, I never made it to the main forums page. Thanks!!!
