Great finds for a trash pit, lot of artifacts are intact pretty good, trying to look at the bigger artifact on the far right and determine what it is, looks to be alittle older than 1950s. :occasion14:

Trying to make out those letters on the last piece.. :icon_scratch:

it says cyclone

It is a lid to the top of a cast iron stove.

Yep :-)

Its local Murfreesboro pure milk Co.

I had a Snyders Dairy bottle that looked identical to that one you found. Which hobby are you more into bottles or metal detecting?

Collecting random stuff that appeal to me, coin shooter mostly tho....

Ive been collecting coins ever since i can remember. I started getting interested in bottles when i realized i was surrounded by them. I started actually digging for them in high school. Since then i was finding coins along the way. Mostly wheat pennies in farm dumps but as i found older spots out came the mercs and large cents. Thats what started my detecting addiction, I also got into doing estates and yard sales along with a constant lead on properties as old as the 1740s. What kind of bounty hunter do you use? I used to have a tracker IV but gave it to my digging buddy.

That's great I have tons of bottles from digging since high school, I've gotten rid of slot just kept the cool ones... I use a bounty hunter quick draw 2 its done me good so far...

I still have all my bottles and coins just limited areas to store them lol. I never used one like that, i use an E Trac now but im still learning everytime i use it. Your the first girl treasure hunter I met, there must be a shortage here in PA.

Lol I wouldn't know, I still have mine boxed up like you said no place to put them.... Just got back from searching around a old house, bout to go Post my finds...

Nice finds bhg86, I greew up eating off of a wood burning Stove. And like you and Ian I too have been poking around old home sites since the early 70's. I drove by an old houseplace being torn down today, The guy said it was built in the early 1820's. Some of the logs where 20-26 inches wide, After being hand hewned down!!..........HH
