1964 Kenedy Half Dollar

I was at a local convenience store and noticed the guy ahead of me was going to pay with a silver half dollar. When it was my turn, I asked the lady behind the counter if I could buy it. I do this on occasion when I see it happen. She said of course. SO here it is. Not too bad right? IT seems in really good shape. Not sure if it is worth ore than 50 cents, but still a cool find.

Congrats on the astute pickup of the silver! It's melt value is a bit over $6 and the coin value in decent condition is about $10, so a great find for you!

Thanks Javadroid. I didn't think it was worth much. If I can ever get the obverse pic on here you will see how nice the obverse is. It almost seems to be uncirculated or at least not much. Very shiny.

Every casino in Vegas has plenty of Kennedys in their Cashiers cages. I sometimes give them away as tips and make mention of their linage. Also seen lots of $1.00 silver coins. All courtisey of the Federal Reserve. I often go through a roll of quarters,from the casinos, some good silver pics their also.
