Need help figuring out if this coin is proof or not. For some reason I believe it is because it has the mirror effect, but the mint would be incorrect. Can anyone help me out on this one?

It's really hard to grade coins from photos. Just learn to grade yourself.

If you like it, keep it. 1971 unc halves sell on ebay every day for $1 with free shipping and they look much nicer than your coin. To most on here it's nothing more than a dump coin.
