What's wrong with the Y??

The E and R look like they could have been struck through grease or something, but that's all I'm seeing.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing it either. How about some pics of "in God we trust".

There's a line in the letters, Can you see the line on the left top part of the "Y"?

The doubling would be in the same general direction. I'm thinking this is a trick of the lighting.

Looks the same under the ubs microscope and in room lighting. That's why I asked....can't tell.

Sorry Smokey. I enlarged the pic to maximum, but I'm just not seeing it. Doesn't mean it's not there!! Upon entering the military, I found out (while in-processing) that there are certain colors that I cannot distinguish between. However, I've never been further tested in order to find out ALL of the colors that I have difficulty with. So on this, please don't take my word for it. Just that I, personally, cannot see it.
