1981-S Proof

My Box im going through looks like a SKUNK!

Hey guys one question, I did find a 1981-S but its pretty beat up and ugly I know its a proof but sure as heck doesent look like it anymore is it still worth it to keep it or should i just throw it back in any response appreciated! Also if it is worth keeping is there any method of spiffing it up to look better

I would keep it just to see if you can create a whole collection of just proofs.

Otherwise I would probably toss it if it were that bad.

Update!!! I also ended up finding a 1992-S and this one looks pretty good besides some smudging and some hairline scratches. I have a feeling that all of the halves in my box came from a casino because half of them had worn out edges, greenish rust, I thought maybe they were in a fountain or something, no silver and the only keepers were the two proofs. Well I hope i have better luck next time!
