1981D Half dollar oddity with picture

I found this 1981D half while crhing.The oddity is it definitely does not sound clad but has a silver clang when dropped.It feels alot lighter than a clad.It has the cake copper and not a noticeable silver edge,its not a magician coin.What is all your thoughts on it.Any help.

The average half dollar weighs1.11 this one weighs .99.
