I believe it's just a ripple in the planchet. It's a dime-a-dozen error.

I have some like this, good to know what it's called. But going by "a dime a dozen error" doesn't sound like they are valuable.

What is seen on the coin is a result of Die Deterioration (similar to the Die Deterioration doubling on the 1955-P "Poor Man's Double Die" Cent), extreme pressure exerted on the outer edges of the coin during the minting process and Copper plating slippage. Out of 1,000 Copper plated Zinc Cents, it is possible that 10% or more will have the same or similar doubling effect.
